Chronicles of Riddick Mac Issues

Has anyone purchased the Chronicles of Riddick from the Mac App store? I am having issues with it. I am near the beginning of Escape from Butcher Bay. While in the ventilation shaft, everytime I kill a guard, the screen has a white "haze" or filter that appears over the entire screen. It is semi transparent as I can still move around & the game still runs, but it is difficult to see. Once I restart the game, the screen appears normally until killing the guard.

I have written to Virtual Programming support and opened a ticket but have to say that they are severely lacking. It has been two weeks (May 19th) and no response from them at ALL. RIDICULOUS!

I am running the game on a imac core2duo 2.8 ghz with 4 GB RAM and a nvidia 8800GS vid card w/ 512MB RAM. I am running 10.6.7

Any suggestions or ideas? Thanks!

Interesting

At first I thought it could have been a gameplay thing

but

it appears to be technical

Try to play around with the gamma or the graphical setting that might fix the problem

Or

Maybe you should try reinstalling!


If that doesn't work, try to get the developers attention again!

In all seriousness, you shouldn't have waited 2 weeks to hear back from VP. You shouldn't have waited more than 24 hours, because a 24 hour response time is good customer service. Write to them again, on their website.

If you have anti-aliasing enabled, turn that off.

Thanks all...playing with the Gamma settings seems to have solved it...at least so far.

I did write a different email to VP...but no acknowledgement from that either. It is truly "Riddickulous" LOL deadwulfe
