Can a 2009 Apple Cinema Display Model A1081 be connected to a new Mac Mini (or even an older one)? I have the display and am looking into getting the Mini. I assume (or hope) there as an adapter, but just don’t know. Let me know if more info on the Display is needed.
thanks, JG

Yes. You need a USB-C (male) to DVI (female) adapter for the video signal and a USB-C (male) to USB-A (female) adapter for the display's built-in USB hub and brightness control.

This thread is about the 2018 Mini but it might help. OTOH, there are some other threads about DVI problems on the 2020 M1 Mini. I have a 2018 Mini, so no personal experience with the new M1. I also have an old DVI Cinema Display that I used for many, many years but replaced it with a new screen when I got the 2018 Mini.
