Hello,

I have a question about the ‘Cinematic’ mode on the iPhone. I have an iPhone 15PM.

I shoot my videos for my YouTube channel in cinematic mode and then export them to my MacBook Pro for editing in Final Cut Pro X.

I need my video to be on my Mac as quickly as possible so I can get on with editing. Except that... To transfer the video in ‘Cinematic’ mode, the video has to be processed (to ensure that the background blur is correct, etc.) and the processing time is very, very long, which slows down my production process.

My question is as follows: Can it be shortened or is it impossible and is it better not to shoot in ‘Cinematic’ mode?

Thank you in advance for your answers.

If you have plugins that can handle blur through post algorithms, you don't need to use Cinematic mode. My general approach is to grab a beer, get something to eat, find a film and ... it finished;)

Thanks! Do you have some recommendations?
