I am trying to obtain Cisco VPN software compatible for my Powerbook. The VPN software on my Powerbook will not allow me to tunnel in to my employer, and I hate using Virtual PC to check work email.

My employer uses the Cisco 3.5.1 VPN version. I tried to obtain an Apple OS compatible version of the software from Cisco, but they only deal with resellers. None of the authorized Cisco resellers I contact could help me, and of course, my employer does not support Macs, they told me to "shove off."

Any one have any suggestions?

Ask your employer to request version 3.7 or 4.0 for OS X. I have 3.7, a friend has 4.0 (which apparently cures some issues that I didn't have). Once you get it set up, it will work fine. It really shouldn't be a hassle for them to obtain the disc from Cisco. And the set-up is mac-easy, so you shouldn't need their support.
