Anyone know if Citibank is releasing an app for the iPhone? I remember reading a while back that they were going to develop one but I haven't heard anything since. Anyone have any info?

I would LOVE a Citibank app. Right now it's really hard to get into their website on mobile Safari (especially on EDGE).

citi bank app on 1/24/09.. it was supposed to be up on the 15th. on that day in the app store it found the citi mobile(sm) but was not there to download. so it will be out on the 24th.

i know because i called and they have told me. first attempt was the 16th. but they had issues with the app. second time they said the 24th

I truly hope it's coming today (or soon). I've been using the Mint.com app so far just to quickly check my balance, but it almost never updates when you launch (and even after pushing refresh several times) -- which makes it pretty much useless.

I believe they do. I asked my mom about a Citi Bank app and she told me about the online phone-formatted site and I saw a sign for it at her work.

Citi is working on a App for the iPhone, Blackberry, G1, etc. The reason it is taking so long is security and smooth functionality. Please be patient, there is a team working on it.
