I am trying to connect to a Citrix server using the iPhone Citrix App.

When I try to connect I get error:

"Unable to load App list untrusted server certificate"

I looked around and Citrix says to install the SSL certificate onto the iPhone but provides no further instructions on how to do so.

I looked further and found I have a p7b type certificate, and so the usual trick of emailing to your iphone and opening the certificate there won't work.

Anyone know how to install a p7b certificate on an iphone?

Thanks!

I was an intern at Citrix on the Usability team back when the app was first being developed and was able to email the cert. to myself and open it that way. I've since graduated and no longer work for Citrix or use the app so I don't know what has changed but if you continue to have problems and are on twitter, you should tweet @teddfox or @guspinto, they are THE two mac guys at Citrix.

If you don't have twitter let me know and I'll send them an e-mail.

I don't have twitter. It would be great to figure out how to install the p7b type certificate. thanks for your help!

I joined Twitter to ask those guys. No idea if I posted correctly or not in Twitter.

Hey all! The P7B certs are not correctly recognized by the iPhone for some reason. You can convert the P7B to cer format and then it will import correctly. the way we see people doing an import are a couple of ways.

In the enterprise, many are using the Enterprise configuration utility offered free from Apple to get their corp users the certificate. You can also host the certificate on a web page and click a link to download it and it will install (IIS messes this up, so use Apache if you can).

You can also email it to the user if your email system does allow that file extenstion and does not zip it up.

If you have a root certificate for your enterprise, make sure that is the one you install.

Let me know how this works for you :) I will be glad to answer any questions you all have on Citrix iPhone products or Citrix products in general.

We are working on some other AWESOME stuff for Mac and iPhone so stay tuned.

For the peeps in Florida,

There is iphonedevcamp - Florida coming at the end of July. go to http://iphonedevcampfl.org for more details. It is the most AWESOME venue of any iPhoneDevCamp and the ONLY large iPhone oriented conference int he eastern US.
