Hi! I've had this watch for four days and I'm getting the hang of using it, but for the life of me-- Citymapper just will NOT work on it.

I've even unpaired and re-paired the watch to my iPhone (which resulted in a very annoying double-listing of this watch as a data source which is in it's own, a big issue a lot of other people have) and no dice. I open Citymapper up on the watch and hit places and it just keeps telling me "saved place on your phone appear here" as well as "Home not set; please set your home location in city mapper on phone".

I've been using Citymapper on my phone for a year and all of these things are set, but the darn thing just wont work on the watch, and that was the main reason I bought it.

Any suggestions? I've contacted citymapper support and tweeted to them after I got no response, but they don't respond to any contact.

I'd love to hear if there was anything anyone was able to do to kick it into gear. Thank you kindly!

Have you done the things it said... "saved places on your phone" and "set your home location"? If not, then its not going to work. The way I use it, I start a trip on the iPhone, and then use the watch to keep progress. For example, it will show you your stop progress on the tube in London, and then give you instructions on where to go to the next platform. I've not had much with the walking part, and use the iPhone for that part, but on public transit it works very well.

Yeah I've done all of those things. I have a HOME set, WORK set, as well as a couple of saved places, but I still get prompted to set it up.

It's laid out on the watch so that when you select HOME or saved places, it should give you the list of options and let you navigate but I have to go to the phone, so it's kinda moot having it for the watch.

You might want to try uninstalling the app on both your phone and watch and then reinstalling.

Yeah I had to do that, and when I reinstalled, I tried starting from scratch and making a new account and that worked. A bummer I had to lose all those places and routes I had saved. Maybe someday they'll fix that.

That stinks. I was hoping your data would be preserved in the CityMapper cloud. But I guess with a new account that wasn't going to happen.

Yeah, I'll keep checking back in the future to make sure if it gets updated or not but Im not holding my breath. I don't own a car so I had a LOOOOOT of routes and favorite locations saved lol. I'll just remake them as I need them.

I had a pebble for about a year but it started glitching a lot (split screen) and I found myself spending more time doing full restores and having to set it up over and over and it had a bus app that let me input saved stops that I commonly used and would show me ALL arriving buses, but I've yet to find anything like that for apple watch. Citymapper is close.
