sounds a daft request.

basically i use teamviewer when im at work to access my imac from my works pc. i do have a lot of twiddling thumbs time at my desk, and it means i can check whats available to download and stuff..

anyway i digress.

gaming on teamviewer isnt the best, obviously, but i have played many hours of football manager over teamviewer.

now im playing civ 5, and whilst it should be the best game for doing this, because its turn based, i think the constant little animations are whats playing havoc for it.

any way to turn it so that nothing animates

You can always play in 2d mode on the map.

I don't think I see an option to turn off all animations. But there is definitely options to turn off key animations like the units/troops animation during combat, or during unit movement, etc. At least I see those options in the Aspyr Mac port that I'm currently playing.
