Civ IV, new MBP 17"

Hi,

I've recently moved to Mac and I've bought a copy of Civ 4 Gold to keep me amused in the downtime (it's about the only game that I'd miss from the PC world!)

It runs perfectly except I seem to be missing the faces of all of the animated characters - they're essentially transparent except for eyes and hair! Has anyone else seen this and do they know a fix? I'm running latest version (1.74) and Leopard latest patches. Machine is a MBP running the 9600M graphics card, game is running otherwise smoothly at 1900x1280 with all the options ramped up.

Turn off antialiasing -- this is a known problem with AA and Nvidia cards that may be fixed in a future patch.

I had the same problem and replaced all the leader avatars with static ones. See http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=161083.
