First off, I realize this post is bordering what's okay to ask for on these forums, so feel free to lock it and ban me if you find it inappropriate (after all, that's why I made a one-post stupid-name account :p )

Anyway, I'm getting a new iMac pretty soon (Wed 21st, regardless of updates. Can't wait any longer ;) ) and I'm really looking forward to playing Civilization 4 Beyond the Sword on it. However, I've read that the iMac can have an issue where CD's and DVD's get scratched, so I'd like to make a copy of my BtS CD to run from so that I won't scratch my precious original CD (about 4 times as precious as a PC CD, it would seem).

I've tried to simply copy the CD as a disk image and burn it onto a blank CD using Disk Utility, but that doesn't work. ... And that's where I'm stuck because it's always worked before :D

So, anyone have any good advice?
