Noticing a LOT of posts leaning on the point of there being "only a $50 price difference" when jumping from a 256gb iPad Air 5 to a 128gb 11" iPad Pro.

That's true for those who yolo their new toys, but (in practice) it ends up being an additional $100 if you consider the increased Apple Care cost ($129 vs. $79) ...just an additional something to consider while we obsess over details :)

True but the 128GB M1 Pro 11 is pretty much always on sale for $749 at Amazon and Costco. :p

Fewer sales/smaller discounts for now on the Air 5 with it being so new. Besides, AppleCare+ is optional anyway.

Oh, absolutely. I wish I was down for that, but instead I (foolishly) opt for the Apple store just to get some use out of the silly card. 3% back is a (slight) offset I guess, but you're right...the real deal is to take advantage of Costco pricing (plus pay the whole thing off at once)
