Good thing I read this. JB would be a no go until this is sorted out. Have invested way too much time into COC to not have it on my phone. Which clans are you all in by the way :)

Lol I'll have to hold back until this is fixed then. Don't wanna get kicked from clan for missing war

Don't really play buy I left it open for 10 minutes and it didnt crash. The soldiers were doing there own thing.

Anyone still can confirm this or can i delete this thread ?

Still got the crash on ios 8.1 latest Pangu version iPhone 4S

Delete the application, run iCleaner, and download it again from the App Store. It is likely corrupt backup data that was restored.

I had the same problem with other apps restoring bad data.

Made an account just to say yes I am having this same issue even on Pangu v1.1.0 jailbroken 4S. Its irritating as all hell and I already tweeted the team about it. Pangu for iOS 7 never did this so it's something on their part.

Yep, got this issue on an iPad2 running iOS 8.1, jailbroken with Pangu 1.1.

Crash logs reported the crashing of the startup daemon POWERD.

I've done a bit off research and given MY situation and what I use my iPad for, it was OK for me to delete (after having backed up all daemons) the powerd daemon. That's not to say it's safe for you. Study up on it !

Anyway, the removal is now done, and I haven't had issues since (for the past hour). Will be back if I bump into issues.

Here's a description of what the powerd daemon does:
com.apple.powerd.plist – With 5.0 our iDevices recieved a battery drain… Well as a result whatever was sucking up battery also caused the processor to slow down as a way to compensate. Disabling the system location services (Settings>LocationServices>System Services) stopped the battery drain, but your CPU is still being limited with a decreasing battery. With this daemon removed your processor won’t be limited because your battery is at a certain level, giving you a decent performance bump. As of iOS 6 removing this will cause the mail app to crash IF you have a Hotmail or Exchange account. Removing this will increase speed greatly but will drain battery faster [Not for iPhone 4S/5]

Here's the website I found the solution on:
http://homepage.fudan.edu.cn/wggao/...removing-launch-daemons-background-processes/

EDIT: Nah, this wasn't it, anyway. Didn't solve a thing!

Did you try to crack in app purchases? That is your main culprit for these types of issues.

On my iPhone 5s happens occasionally and happens right when the game starts, so if it gets past 5 seconds of game play, it doesn't crash on my phone so I'm don't really care about the crashes.

Are the clash of clans still happening? I need to upDe my iPad mini retina and Iphone 5S to 8.1 soon before 8.1.1 comes out

Hey guys my friend had this problem as well but I fixed his problem pretty easily. The issue was activator needed to be uninstalled. Activator was automatically installed to his phone and he had 4 different apps crashing. I took that off and his jailbreak has been flawless! I'm back to clashing no problem and my phone has not gone in safe mode. This is the best jailbreak to ever hit ios! Oh btw he has the iPhone 6 plus ios 8.1 pangu jailbreak.
