Yup, Vaseline.. to me the classic buckle leather looked too flat. I know this is not rocket science but I just rubbed in a liberal amount of vaseline on and into the band leather and wiped off excess amounts and it looks and feels so much better.

Give is a nice little shine to it :)

That sounds kinda gross, does it smell like vaseline all day?

Why not use an oil based leather conditioner?

When my son was in little league his coach told the boys to rub shaving creme (the white foamy kind) into there mits to soften them up ...Vaseline probably does the same thing
