Is it possible to run classic mode in a window as opposed to full screen? I've checked in system preferences and not found anything. I'm running 10.2.
What in God's name are you talking about? Currently, Classic switches to the MacOS 9 menu bar and Apple menu. It does not take over your computer, which is the usual meaning of "full screen." What would be the point of placing Classic in a separate Window?Originally posted by Thanatoast

So you want to screw up the MacOS X GUI because you want to play a game in Classic. That would truly have the tail wag the dog. Is it possbile to run the game on a separate monitor?Originally posted by Thanatoast
To answer your question MisterMe, I enjoy playing Heroes of Might and Magic III. But I also enjoy chatting with friends and surfing the net. Since classic is currently set to take over all my screen real-estate I am precluded from participating in these other activities. Maybe it's just Heroes III, but running it in a window instead of fullscreen is what I'm looking for.
