Classic System 6 voices

I heard a song out on the radio (missed what it was called) that had a computer voice on it that reminded me of the classic mac voice.

Does any one know what the name of the voice was and if it's possible to get it into Mac OS X? (system 6 voice)

Also on a classic I used to have a program called 'lipservice' that would say the date and time on booting up. Is there anything like that for Mac OS X?
