I can make mine do that too but it required a bit of effort on my behalf.

I needed to make finder big enough so there is no scroll bar there. Then I need to move that thing a lot faster to get the same effect. Does the same on my buddies MBP too.

Neither of ours are as bad as your gif though.

BTW both do it without turning on dark mode.

i don't have that. My redraw is fast on my Air. What vid card / year are you using?

Same here, on late iMac 2012 27 inch

Same here, but it down't always clear out the black. The folders disappear and I cannot click anything. Closing and opening again resolves it.
