Classy Protection Needed for MBA 13

I want a protective skin (I think) that also looks classy for my MBA 13. Any recommendations?

I was thinking of something like the Cretouch.

I can't figure out if this skin covers just the front or the back too? Anybody have it?

Sena leather case - it is quite pricey at $150 but it could be worth it if it is VERY nice. Anybody have it?

Other ideas? I need a skin that stays on 100% of the time. It needs to go with me and be used in my pickup so it cannot be fragile.

Got to be honest here. I love the feel of the "bare" Air so much Im not gonna cover or skin it. I think just get a nice sleeve for travel and youll be happier

If your looking just to toss it around in your truck then I would go with the leather. If your looking for a skin, IMO that is just protecting from scratches by the user. Any other protection will need to be a sleeve or stronger cover, thicker then a film strip.

I have the icarbon skin, and a few sleeves. Pack & Smooch felt sleeve and Waterfield at sfbags.com.

lol, Don't tell me your paying rent for mom's basement:D

Back to the post, I did order one of those clear skins first. The one were you need to spray and squeegee . I could not do it, I gave up after the 4th pull off and just tossed it in the can. I have read that there are places that install them for you, ie Malls

The iCarbon is vinyl and a little easier to install your self per the video. IMO:D

I need protection for when I use my MBA because I am using it on the job:

In my pickup
Out on the job site
etc.

When I travel I use an old Dell leather case that will hold my power cord etc.

Hahahaha, nah. I dont even live with my mom :p I am a foreign xchange student, but I feel bad buying things with my parents money. I have enough with my ultimate MBA and sleeve :) Nice one though.
Yup icarbons just look awesome. I will probably buy that with my birthday money. Im between a mouse or a iCarbon.. hm...

One that is made for your machine:confused: I believe the only choice is Black or White. I got the black one. I would think if I had the white one, I would be constantly cleaning the smears from my finger prints.

I just ordered the iCarbons black front and back for MBA 13 and the icarbons black back only for my ipad 2.

I will report back how I like them.

Every skin, cover etc is tailored this way. I have yet to find any cover that edge to edge in either direction.

The SGP does not cover the bottom. I dont think you will like the leather on the keyboard area.

I have had numerous SGP leather skins on my iphone/ipad and like them. But for the MBA, I just used Zagg invisashield.

I'm not sure, but my skin from decalgirl is pretty much edge to edge on the top cover, a 1 inch would be quite the gap IMHO.
