Well, best of luck to you with it. Without provenance, it'll be very difficult to get it sold. You could end up in a pickle like Teri Horton and her Pollack.
My advice is to take it around to some of the local dealers in your area, as well as some in larger cities to get it looked at. Don't take any money until you have several opinions on it.
Either way, are you sure that that's not a lithograph? There seems to be no depth to the paint, an oil painting ought to have some sort of depth in the strokes. It looks an awful lot like
this painting as well.
