Hi,

I'm trying to do clean install, but I cannot set my username as "Robert", it still saves it as "robert".
Is that a bug or a feature?

I have seen a couple threads here on this new restriction under Sierra, so I don't think it is anything you are doing wrong or can change.

You can change it, but the solution is a bit messy (you need to use a second account). I encourage you to read the entire support article before you start changing things: https://support.apple.com/HT201548.

A lowercase username is considered a best practice, especially if the device is managed remotely through a network. A case-mismatch can potentially cause problems with the server if it enforces case-sensitivity. However, a typical home user should not be affected by this, so it is probably ‘safe’ to use it.

I did it, but then all the folder icon in my Home folder disappeared... Well I have to live with "robert" for now and we'll see
