Hello guys,
I have a 512 GB Samsung 840 Evo + 750GB standard HDD in my Mid 2012 MacBook Pro 13''. I want to do a clean install of El Capitan.
Until now I've been using my Home folder in the standard HDD and the OS on the SSD, but I wanted to give a try to a DIY Fusion Drive, as I'm starting over with the OS.
Has anyone accomplished this? Given the fact I haven't found any info, I have these options:
1.- Take the risk, make a clean install of El Capitan beta and try Fusion Drive directly, with the same instructions as Yosemite/Mavericks
2.- Clean install of Yosemite, try Fusion Drive and make an update installation of El Capitan Beta
3.- Clean install of Yosemite, try Fusion Drive and wait for the final release of El Capitan.
Any opinion? What should I do?
Thanks in advance!
