Hi,
I am planning to do a clean install of Panther when it arrives tomorrow on all of my computers. I have no problems with this on my iBook and Quicksilver, as I have done this many times before. But I do not know how to do this on my Rev A 12" PB. How do you do a clean install of the system on this computer as it is not dual boot, so how would I reinstall Classic. Thanks for you help in advance.

I expect you want to install Classic on the same partition as Panther.
You can try the first, the second will always work:
1. After installing 10.3, you can simply try to insert your original Software Restore DVD (CD), and launch the app which is called something like "Install additional applications and Classic support", and then just follow the instructions on screen. It could be that this installer won't run on Panther, then try:
2. Insert the same DVD (CD), and open it. In the Finder pull down the "Go" menu, and select "Go to Folder...". Then type ".Images". (this hidden directory shows the disk images containing the extra apps, and Classic environment).
Open the image named: "OS9General.dmg" (or something similar). The Classic System Folder, Applications (Mac OS 9), and Documents folder will be shown on the mounted volume. Just copy these to your HD, and you're done.
