So I got my 11" beauty today. I did some browsing, and then I decided to reinstall OS X to save a little space by not installing iLife, extra languages, X11 etc. So I reboot with the USB, unchecking the boxes for X11 and languages etc, and wait the ~30 min it took.
But when the Air boots up, I still have the same custom background, the browser history in Safari is still there etc.
Did something go wrong with the reformat?
Or did OS X reinstall itself but kept all my settings? If so, how do I tell it not to keep the settings?
