Hello,

How can I clean my iMac (and the keyboard)?

Just a wet cloth? Suggestion, please! Time for the first bath of my iMac...:)

Thank you!

the cloth that comes with it for the screen and a wet cloth for the board

But there are some dirties on the screen that don't clean just with the cloth that comes with it. It would be necessary something 'wet'.

For the keyboard I use rubbing alcohol + q-tips. Just wet the tips of the q-tips with the alcohol, rub on the keys, then dry with a tissue. The keys look like new after doing that.

Make sure that you don't use too much alcohol though because you don't want it getting inside of the keyboard itself.

What about the dust inside the computer? I have a G5 iMac which I can remove the back easily and remove the dust from the fans.

I just cleaned the inside of my G5 iMac the other day. I used a vacuum with the edge attachment. I didn't touch the computer at all, kept the attachment an inch above the computer and sucked the dust out of the few spots that had some built up. I made sure I kept my hand grounded to avoid any possibility of static. The inside of mine has never really gotten dirty. I still take it apart once a year to clean it anyways. BTW, I have a dog, cat and wife who hates to clean.
