LOLLERSKATZ ME THREE!

Most of the products i've used in the past have left streak marks on the screen, which will be even more visible with the glossy screens out now. The iKlear stuff is what i've used in the past, which has pretty much sucked all around. :(

I use AF Screen Clene wipes to do the screen (also use the tissue wipe that comes with it to wipe off excess) and then when that's nice and clean use the wipe to clean the keyboard and rest of the machine.

For my Blackook I use the disposable wipes that is normally used to clean glasses to clean my screen and trackpad. You should be able to get them at your local supermarket or optician. They are dirt cheap. Should be like 3 euroes for 100 wipes.
To clean the rest of the beast I use a damp (not too damp!) microfiber cloth (the ones that are normally used to clean mirrors etc.) They are washable and you should also be able to get these for about 1 euro at your local supermarket.

I works like a charm - the blackbook looks lean and mean.

**** - I sound as a ****ing cleaning lady :D

Hi I'm wanting to clean my MacBook with out scratching it also want to clean the screen.

I use KLEAR, its awesome for screens and also for the case and keyboard.

If your MB is white and you want to remove a few scratches, try a product called ICE CREAM (not the variety you eat !!) but an Acrylic Abrasion Removing Polish.

Dave :)

The iklear stuff works well if you follow the directions and wipe the screen in small portions. The iklear also works well at cleaning the case of the macbook. I wouldn't reccomend using anything but a damp cloth with water on the trackpad. Make sure not to use any chemical that contains alcohol or ammonia on ANY screen.

.. you could just use a damp cloth? That's what I use. Or, sometimes those antibacterial wipes you use to clean counters and stuff (I wouldn't use those on the screen though).

cleaning

I love alcohol on MacBooks (white. no idea about black). I always cleaned screens with a slightly dampened (like a couple sprays), wipe the screen, wipe with more toliet paper. TP should be unscented.

Just get a microfibre cloth. Use dry (or ever so slightly) dampened.

No need to get one of those expensive "computer microfibre cloths". I got a two-pack of regular ones at my local discount supermarket (LIDL) in the cleaning utilities section... :)

3M microfiber cloth...about 4 to 5 dollars. Use a dab of water and you're good to go. I have found absolutely no need for anything besides this for the screen and exterior case. works beautifully.

For the interior case I have found nothing better than Mr. Clean Magic Erasers. Do not use these anywhere except the keyboard, top case and screen bezel. They will abrade the external case and LCD screen. These magic erasers are amazing!

Cheers
