Cleaning microfiber side of Smart Keyboard

Looked everywhere and found only advice on cleaning the actual keys. Anyone with the Smart Keyboard knows that the microfiber part part which touches your screen also touches whatever surface you have your keyboard and iPad out on. With this in mind, what do you do to clean the microfiber side of the keyboard? Thanks!

Wipe it with a slightly damp cloth, let it dry.

I put Scotchguard on mine. I taped off the no-no parts and on she went. Works nicely if you have the guts.
