Hi

I have my first Apple Watch. SB SS Black Milanese Loop.

What is the easiest way to clean it? Dies Apple recommend any specific method for cleaning? Frequency (I never cleaned a watch band of any type before)?

Does it require a long drying time, which would require setting it aside and using another band for a day?

If it were not for cleaning, I have no desire to change bands. I would be keen on staying with the ML and not swapping bands if I could. If I had to swap bands, should I just get another ML?

I’m highly prone to wrist rashes and the ML has not presented and issue so far.

“For all other bands, buckles, and closures:

  1. Wipe the band clean with a nonabrasive, lint-free cloth. If necessary, lightly dampen the cloth with fresh water.
  2. Dry the band with a nonabrasive, lint-free cloth before you attach it to your Apple Watch.”

Do I need to remove the band to clean it or can I leave it attached at one end or even attached at both ends?

I wash them both at the same time. if the band was really bad you could stick it in the dishwasher.

I would try to clean my milanese loop with an iron remover that I use with my car, it is a chimical decontamination, wash everything with water and after I would clean with soap.
