Cleaning out my iPhone to sell it, question

Ok, considering selling my iPhone and just down grading to a Motorola RAZR2 as this phone is just way too much for me, all I really do is make calls and text, so I am not really using its full potential.

My question is how do I clean out my contact list etc... prior to selling it?

Master reset?

Manually delete them all?

take the sim out and restore, NOT from backup, via itunes.

Tap Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Contents and Settings

Note: This will delete all media and data. All settings will be reset as well.
