Other than using the cleaning cloth provided, any suggestions for the best way to clean the interior of the Link bracelet? Sonic cleaning at a jeweler recommended? How you cleaning your link?

Squirt some Windex on it and let it sit for a few minutes and wash it with warm water and a soft toothbrush. My Rolex would sit in a glass full of ammonia while I showered as suggested by the Rolex dealer.

That black goo is a build-up of dead skin cells, sweat, skin oil, and hair. Same thing happens with my Omega Seamster, and every other SS link band I've ever owned.

I would not use a sonic jewelry cleaner because you don't know how the sonic vibrations are going to affect the electronics of the Apple Watch. Instead, make a soap solution from a few drops of dish soap diluted in a coffee cup of water, dip the bracelet in it, and scrub the bracelet with a soft toothbrush. Rinse under water, and repeat until the black goo is gone.

I have used a "Sudsy Ammonia" product for my metal watch bands for many years. It is a combination of ammonia and detergent. I dip a soft toothbrush in it and gently brush all the nooks and crannies of the band, then rinse. You will be amazed at how much gunk comes off!

With a sonic cleaner, would it damage those rubber spacers and the magnet on the adapter ends of the bracelet? I use one for my Omega bracelets but it's meant for them. I haven't dared to try it on the AW bracelet yet...

I use my Sonicare toothbrush with an old head and a small amount of liquid soap. The sonic vibrations and the soft brush are a great combination. Rinse under warm water, pat dry.
