Clear all notifications not working

I thought in iOS10 in Notification Center if you either 3D touched or long pressed any circle X on the notification screen you would get a message to Clear All? That's not working for me. Anyone else?

It works for me with a long press on the "clear" button, not on any X.

Thanks. Still not working on my iPad as a long touch on Clear. Weird.

EDIT: 3D Touch on my iPhone is working on either the X or the Clear. Can't get long press to work at all on my iPad.

Cool thanks. I thought I read somewhere it could be done with a long press on non-3D touch devices....but maybe not.
