I am wondering if anyone knows of an easy way to clear the Recent Folders in the GO section of the MenuBar in OSX. I've been able to keep the recent items clear in the menu bar through the system preferences but I can't understand why there isn't a easy way to keep this clear as well. The reason I need it cleared is because in my search of a program that could simply password protect files and folders, I came across a program called LameSecure. It isn't all out encryption but it gets the job done keeping stuff from non-computer geniuses, and better yet its free. But the only problem is, if I password protect a folder, yes when you search to its location on the HD, you need a password to open it, but if you click on the folder from the Recent Folders section, you can open it with no password. I found other programs that do a better job, but they have a hefty price I don't want to pay, when I hear that Panther will sport this feature. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
