I am a Clear convert, but I can't figure out if there is a way to reuse a completed task. Once I mark the task completed it greys with a line through it and drops to the bottom of the list, but can it not be reactivated? That would make Clear useful for packing for trips, for example. Thanks.

So I gave my iPhone to a friend to see how intuitive Clear is for someone who knows nothing about the app. In messing around with entries a swipe to the left marks an item as completed, while a swipe to the right on a completed item brought it back to the uncompleted state. But I still can't find a way to do that on my iMac without a trackpad.

This is an old question from 2015, but I needed the same function, and figured it out. You simply press the completed task, hold, and move the item upward into the incomplete task portion of the list. The task will automatically “restore” (as incomplete) at the position in the list at which you place it. I hope you figured this out in the meantime, but if not, I hope this is helpful.
