New to the iphone so bear with me.
I downloaded free and paid for apps that do not work like I want them to.
When I go into itunes, apps, sync apps I uncheck the box of the app I do not want on my iphone.
Question - is there anyway to totally get rid of that app on my list? I will never check the box and put it back on my phone.
Thanks

In iTunes, under the Library section on the left, select Apps, then right click on an app and select delete :)

Yup. And it will give you a choice of keeping the file (but removing it from iTunes) or deleting the file completely. Select delete file. This will remove it completely from your computer, saving you valuable space.

Thanks. I tried to click on it and hit the delete key. I will bring out my PC mouse to right click. Magic mouse has click problems for me. Never got the hand of it.

Well once I read the directions and went into the library view it worked. Thanks for the information. Ya'll are great

Since you're new to the iPhone, we can recommend some apps for you. Is there any app you need in particular, say a budget manager or tip calculator?

Yes itunes just click on the app and hit delete.
If its on your phone, just hold down on the app til the all shake, then hit the X and it will delete it off your phone

Thanks for the help.
Found some great government info apps for free after I paid for the top rated ones.
Oh well, it will give the students something to play with on field trips.
I'm not into gaming so that is out. I used to love the real pin ball machines, and even boycotted pacman when it first came out as a console game at the pizza joints.
If there was one on the history of weapons that would be cool. Real ones - not video games!

Just thought of what would be a good one - The Pledge by certain famous people - John Wayne, Red, ....
That would be real cool, before the current admin tries to take the pledge away.
