Hi Folks,
I've just set up my gmail account.
I have 634 e-maills queued up to download to the phone.
In my gmail account, I've selected "Enable POP only for mail that arrives from now on".
Every time I delete the e-mails in my inbox, another pile come down.

How do I mark these as read?

Steve.

Two things that may help....

On your iPhone, disable "use recent mode" under settings >mail > account > advanced.
In gmail, archive all of your old emails and set it up to do so automatically from now on (setting, Forwarding and POP, #2 under POP download).

Should get you there.
