Clearing Safari History

Greetings and salutations. I have a question if you don't mind: When I clear my history in Safari, it only deletes the current day. I cannot delete an entry from February 12 2020. 😖 Any ideas ?

Can't you delete that one specifically?

Go to History -> Show All History -> highlight it, and press delete.

alternatively you can delete further.

No arn, it doesn't happen for me. I'm working on the alternative method. Still baffled.
But thanks for your help.

Download the shareware app named "Cookie".
Run through the setup procedure, set it up to delete EVERYTHING in Safari.
Try that and get back to us.

In the future you can go to File, then New Private Window. When you close it, it is gone; no history.

You know what? It's gone - and I did just happen to open a New Private Window.
