clicking download on files won't download

the last couple of days whenever i click download on a file whether through apple.com or anywhere else, i cannot get a file to download i have to hold control then click download and save...

... how do you fixx this?

What browser is this in? Have you tried other browsers?

i use safari - i read somethign or other relating to speed download and i remember d/l'in , i deleted all files related to it and its working fine now... i think thats what solved it
