Clicking on Apps store icon goes to iTunes store problem!

Just got my iPad yesterday, working fine, but just a minor problem with it.

When I click on the Apps store icon, it loads up the usual screen, but then it re-loads and puts up the itunes store.

1. How do I get to the Apps store from the iTunes store? (on the iPad)

2. How do I fix this problem?

I know I can just sync the apps I've downloaded from my mac, but I want to search for apps using my iPad.

I don't get it.

When you are in the Apps icon it switches to the iTunes Store application?

That's very strange.

Not sure, but i think it is because you aren't logged in to the iTunes Store. Have seen this myself. It sends you there, and either logs you in, or you log in. Then you go back to the app store and hopefully all is well.
