I have 'silence unknown callers' enabled on my iphone 12 mini. While those callers do not ring, there is a notification on the phone icon that someone called. When I click the phone icon, my iphone immediately dials the unknown caller. How can I stop that my phone from calling the unknown caller?

If you're saying that when the call notification comes up…you touch that…and it calls the number back…that's the normal behavior for phone notifications. I don't like it either! I wish it would just open the Phone app.

Definitely a pet peeve of mine as well.
At the very least give me a pop up with options.
