Hi, I'm new so, hi :). I've just bought Ipad Air 4, my first Apple device. I was dreading the screen bleed, because of the posts on this forum, but mine seems fine and if it isn't, I don't notice it. What I notice is clicking/poping sound around bezels and casing on the bottom/right side, where the USB-C is, if I pick Ipad with one hand or change the position from portrait to landscape. Like something is not glued right on that place. The sound is not loud but it is there and noticeable. Is that normal, does anyone else has this issue? Or should I return it? Will it worsen over time? I really hate the idea of paying premium price and getting clicking I would expect with some low-budget device.

I had that issue on my iPad 2 (many years ago). Likely just a spot with some missing glue. It didn’t worsen much (if at all) over time. I agree that the device having such a flaw an be a bit annoying, especially at today’s prices.

I noticed it with my old iPad Pro. It didn’t bother me, so I didn’t do anything about it. :)

It shouldn’t be doing that. I’d return it if I were you.

My iPhone 6 has this ever since I had its battery replaced.
I think opening the screen to replace new battery caused this.

I exchanged my first Air 4 that had rattling buttons, and unfortunately the replacement had the issue you're describing. Maybe I was just unlucky, but the QC on these seems pretty bad and it wasn't acceptable to me for a premium device. Returned my replacement for a refund. Might try again in a few months when production is more stable, or wait and see what the new Pro brings.

I've already packed mine for a return and refund. I was debating replacement with myself but right now I don't think it's worth the hassle. Too bad, because I really like it.

I've learned long ago that it is better to wait about 3-4 months after Apple releases a product before purchasing one. Product manufacturing leading up to the release date can sometimes be overly aggressive in order to ramp up inventory. Once the initial crunch time passes, machines are recalibrated, and tolerances are tightened.
