Yes, I know the time is displayed on the menu bar, but that bar disappears when I'm playing a fullscreen video. It would be handy if I could just swipe to reveal a clock without disrupting my video playback.

I couldn't find anything on the first few pages of Google, maybe i'm using the wrong terms. Does anybody have any suggestions?

You know you could just move the mouse up to where the menu bar would be during full screen mode and the bar will appear showing the time and will be less interruptive than showing the notification bar.

Well, I could do that but it find it more disruptive - suddenly I'm not lost in another world, I'm playing a video on a computer. If I just shove the video to the side for a moment I see my notifications without losing immersion.
