On a brand new Macbook Pro ( unibody version ).

I tend to work disconnected a lot in both Leopard and XP ( SP3 ) and have been having trouble with the clock keeping proper time. I did the registry change to tell XP that the clock is in GMT, but it doesn't seem to have solved the problem. It seems to show up the most when I am rebooting back and forth between the two OS's.

Any hints? I would have hoped that the Apple drivers would have taken this into account. But guess not.

Once I connect back to a network with a time server it will reset, but that doesn't help while I am working offline.

Thanks

I too have this issue Mcgomer as I connect and disconnect my MBP to my network. This is annoying and I'm curious too if there is a remedy.

There are several sites that talk about the registry fix to get XP to use UTC, but I have done that and the RTC is still not keeping consistent time when off the net.

Oh well, maybe Windows 7....
