Hey there,

Long time reader but first post, here's a design question that's been on my mind for a while.

Does anyone understands why when an alarm runs, the snooze button is the obnoxiously large orange one in the center, and the stop button is the rather discrete one at the bottom:

While when a timer runs out, you get the opposite, the stop button this time is the large orange one and the snooze (or repeat) is at the bottom:

I find this so confusing, and I mistakenly hit the snooze button on timers EVERY SINGLE time.
This design decision suggests to me that the "default" option in case of alarms would be to snooze it while the default in case of timers would be to repeat, but I hardly find this logic making any sense.

Maybe it's me, maybe I'm missing something here in which case I'll be glad if you could shed some light!

cheers :)

We've become a world of lazy a$$ "snoozers"....I'm a "get your a$$ up" kind of guy and have never snoozed my entire life.

The design is based on real world use and I hate to say I agree with it since I also would prefer a consistent "STOP" in one location and "SNOOZE" in another and keep them there.
