clockwork synergy band adapter/buckle material

hi everyone, was looking into possibly buying some clockwork synergy bands and had a question on the material they use for the adapter/buckle. on the website you're able to select from a variety of colors to match your phone. what material is the adapter/buckle made from? is it plastic or is it metal? i have a 42 SB SS so I'd prefer something that feels premium to use with it.

Have ordered several. They are all stainless steel. The colored ones are coated, and the black is very durable.
