Looks decent, I wonder if the quality is still going to be the same as Apples. I don't think it will. Possibly a lighter metal. Looks wise I think it's spot on. Wouldn't be able to tell this and genuine Apple one apart.

Can't see the other side though. Not sure if this is even has the same mechanisms as the original and u can remove links easily

I chatted with the seller:
  • They can not tell me how the links are attached because they don't have them in stock now, pictures come from the manufacturer
  • They will be in stock in two weeks
  • They are clone of the original
  • It's not Apple parts that have defects (like screen that you can find on ebay) it's a clone from a different manufacturer

Hopefully it's not like the last one of these that showed up. The photos were of an Apple band, what people received wasn't even close.
Make sure you use a payment option that protects you if the vendor decides not to refund your money.

I told the seller that I will purchase when HE can take pictures and send them to me...

Yep thats why I will wait to purchase it: I want picture from HIM and from the back of the band (link mechanism)

Yeah that's an Apple band. Of course there are no photos of the inside because then you'd know it's an Apple band and you'd know they can't replicate it for $69.

Well, I don't think it is impossible to get a clone for 70$: It should cost less than 50$ to make them.
There are PERFECT copies of the leather loop band on Aliexpress (same site) for 60$: I saw them and its the exact same.
My first guess was that they were stolen from the real assembly chain but it's not possible as they are offering many different colors that do not exist @ Apple.

I'm really hoping for a decent clone of this band. I really don't want to drop $450 plus tax on the real deal. I don't care if it has the same sizing mechanism as Apple's, I just want it to resemble it more or less. So far this is the only band I've been able to find that looks remotely similar to Apple's.

Pretty sure it's folded. One of the things I liked about it was that it was lighter than my other steel bands.

Oh, yeah, it's definitely not the highest of quality of steel bands that are out there but I like the look of it.

Toooo good to be true. Talked on the phone with manufacturer ( only one on the market who will have this band in next month) and they told me this is 150usd (wholesale, shipping not included). so, the seller will cancel your order or try to convince you to pay more.

Just to clarify, there are NO "perfect" copies of th leather loop that anyone has actually seen. The only people that have actually received the copies from aliexpress have said that they are clearly inferior.

That doesn't mean that the copies are not worth the money, or that the upcoming copies of the link won't be good values, but they will not be perfect copies, I can promise you that.

Every replica band I've seen so far has been horribly tacky. I get that they are much cheaper than the real thing, but it just ruins the whole aesthetic of the very expensive watch you have purchased.

Those third party milanese loops are an absolute joke. And a lot of the adapters are of really poor quality.

Man that's tempting. I'm gonna hold off for now since I have the three bead Hoco that I love...but I may grab this if we begin hearing that it's a decent band.
