What is the key command to close mini-windows? I'm talking about the ones with the smaller red yellow and green buttons like in mail.app if you click on address to open a list of ppl to email.

EDIT: see my post 5 messages down for clarification of the problem.

neocell gave the correct answer and gets full credit. Brize only gets half credit because he gave the correct answer as well as the incorrect answer. Command-W will not close the mini windows which is what my habits kept making do. Brize, you have a lot of potential but need to study harder for the mid term.

;) Sorry guys, I just have waaaaaaaaay to much school on the brain. Thanks for the help to both of you. :)

Well, Command-W works for me...

Actually, now that I examine exactly what I was asking, it turns out I only get half credit as well. I pulled the mail address thing off the top of my head with out checking the details before I posted. Now that I check, the issue was stated incorrectly and also now that I check the esc and command-w answers both fail to work. What I should have referred to was times like in TextEdit when you show the fonts palette. The only way to close it is to either click the red button, click the toolbar and then command-w (as command ` does not cycle it to the front), or know the specific key command that opened it to close it again. Any other ideas?
