well my G5 imac video card is dying and thus needs a new logic board, $699 at the Apple store. I have a new mac mini with 4gig Ram as my server, and a first gen intel imac as a client at my office, and now need to replace the G5 as the second client. I came across last gen mac mini 1.83 for $399, with 1g ram at a local computer store. Thoughts on this for basically two apps, Safari, and 4D v11 client. Would like to increase to 2 g but may have authorized retailer do, which increases price by $60-$80.
