Closing an App then reverting to Favorites instead of Home Screen??

I have this issue quite a bit with my iPhone 3G.. Its not a major issue rather just a simple annoyance.. I'm wondering if you any of you are experiencing the same..

Sometimes when i close an App by pressing the home button, it redirects me to the "favorites" section of my Contacts, instead of the Home screen.. Is anyone out there getting the same sort of issue??

It happens at least 4 times a day.. Sometimes even when i slide to unlock the phone it takes me to Favorites, even when i haven't used that part of the phone before it goes in "sleep" mode.. Any thoughts on this would be appreciated

Ooops.. Nevermind..

I was double clicking which caused it to go to Favorites.. I changed it to go to Home..

i do have that same problem. i just thought i got click happy when pushing the home button. it doesn't bother me as much as other problems, but you're not crazy. i'd place it under quirks.
