Closing safari tabs redirection

I was wondering if there is any way to, or if Apple plans to, make safari tabs not redirect the last page I was on after I close them. For example, a page opens in a new window, I have a previous page open and I close the newly opened window. Safari annoyingly redirects the page that is still open to the page I just closed. Anyone else have this problem?

Nope it doesn't do that for me. Tried a restore?

ya, ive had that issue ... especially with macrumors' Forum Spy ...

Yes its very annoying I really hope they fix this in an update.
