Hi guys,

So I just noticed the following: On multiple photos I have a cloud symbol in the bottom right corner when I'm in the Photos app. When I click on them I see a circle in the bottom right corner that slowly fills up but it never gets completely full.

The thing is: My photo library says it's up-to-date.

Anyone also having this issue? Maybe that's also the reason why I can't get the photo curation process to finish since weeks.

Thanks in advance and best wishes

EDIT: Two more things:
1.) The circle indicator actually only showed up on one of these pictures (maybe because I tried to edit it while hoping that this would force a re-sync).
2.) As kind of a fix I duplicated all of the bugged photos and deleted the cloud symbol version of it.

EDIT 2: Wow, it seems like this fix also fixed the photo curation issue :)

Did you do this “fix” using the photo app on the phone or your Mac? I’m having a similar issue with curation but if finding that one photo which hasn’t synced is the way to do it I’ll go through my 27000+ photos

I fixed it on my Mac (the cloud symbols only showed up there). Just one more note: The symbol showed up under "all photos" when the thumbnails get displayed. This made going through my library a rather quick process because I didn't have to open every photo. Still, it will probably take some time going through almost 30k photos.
How long does the curation already take for you (for such a library I read that it can be normal that it even takes weeks until it's finished)?
