Just found an update for Cloudmagic in the App Store that states it is now called Newton Mail. I am also quite shocked they are switching from a free app to a paid annual subscription at $50 per year after a 14 day free trial. No thanks, Newton...with great free or cheap alternatives like Outlook, Spark, Airmail and Email why is anyone going to pay $50 a year?

Anyone else using Cloudmagic? Gonna subscribe?

EDIT: I see on reddit someone posted that the program will still work after the trial, you just won't have access to the "premium features". If that is correct, it's not very clear in the app.

I think it is still free without any premium feature, i was using it briefly and deleted now, back to Inbox for me!

I was just going to post about this. I was really shocked! My favorite feature was being able to sync ALL my email accounts using one login. I am hoping that is still a free feature. I am quite sick of these subscription services. I have the mac app too which I pad money for .. I am wondering what will come of that.

EDIT: Oh I guess they will give you a free year subscription if you purchased the mac app. I also am not fond of the new icon haha

The guys at Spark & Polymail must be having a good chuckle over this.

Do you know if those apps are able to sync ALL of your email accounts with one login?

EDIT: What I really loved about cloudmagic was that they had an android app as well which is important for my workflow.
