I'm so sick of Verizon and their non-existent updating of older model Android phones. My DNA is, in my opinion, better than anything they've released since it came out and it's still on 4.1 a year later. Once Nexus phones start releasing with Verizon antennas, I'll never buy another phone from Verizon again.
Oppo is expected to announce their new flagship phone running CM as the official rom. So that's a good start.
But how this plays out long-term is interesting.
As long as CM sticks (or is allowed to stick) to the basic philosophy that made them successful - roms for users by the users - they will remain successful.
